Since our NPO Institute´s foundation in 1951 a number of experimental short films have been produced, with topics focussing exclusively on the extraordianry forces of nature , e.g. snow-storms in the mountains and at sea, the astonishing depths and primitive energy of volcanoes..

Unfortunately, during a fire in 1964 many of these old materials were destroyed.

Some pieces of  8 mm and 16 mm films are currently under repair work in our Film laboratory.
